God my room is messy. Vintage silk shirt again with AA classic skirt. I always forget I have this belt. Outfit pour l’anniversaire de Megan. I hated studying french but often find myself wanting to use it in sentences.

Megan’s was awesome, sat chilling with Pimms in the garden with a (contained) fire til about 11:30 then went out to Fat Buddha. Lychee martinis are king.

I feel like I haven’t had time to chill in an age, I’m always doing something. E.g. tonight going to see D&D – they need a namee man – play at Market Tavern. I am reluctant to give MT my business, they’ve always been mega rude every time we’ve been in, ugh.

Going back down to Leeds tomorrow, sorting out more house stuff, gahd. But I get to see my guys! So excited.

Oh yeah, bloody UO heels arrived today.. size 5. Er, no no. I definitely didn’t order size frickin’ 5, the email even says so. So I have to go to town tomorrow to return them. No way am I paying for postage to get an exchange. Cheeky buggers.

Hey you guys. Sorry for the lack of posting, I really have no excuse, I literally have NOTHING to do, soz.

Went to Ding Dong Vintage again, got a sexual new jacket:

The top’s also new, classic purchase from American Apparel. But what can I say, I ♥ cranberry. Dilemma though – two guys I know also have this top but in the long boys version. Tactical wearing of these items will be required to avoid looking ridic. Ohhh well.

Went to Liverpool on friday to see the Butler, journey is loooong man. I know it’s still in the north but my god it’s SO south. I really like Django’s.

PATTERNS AND CULTURE IS OVERR. Yessss, and hopefully I scraped enough marks to get 40%. Usually I don’t have this attitude to work but cba. All that’s left now is Introduction to Textiles B which should be a breeze cause I did A-Level Textiles. Went to town yesterday after my feedback (don’t wanna brag but hello 2.1) to get things for my Eevee costume. Oho yes, photo’s will be provided. It’s a Pokemon-themed Otley Run. Also got a few purchases from American Apparel, of course.

Just the shorts, but the socks are from there too, top’s Urban Outfitters, usually has braces attached.

Also got a skirt which will no doubt be featured soon. I really want some hi-tops also, any suggestions?

Finally finished my jumper which I’ve been working on since the last week of the easter holidays:

Speaking of knitting, I chose Knitwear as my pathway (out of Menswear, Womenswear and Knitwear) for uni for the next two years, eek. No going back now. I think there’s literally about 4 people doing it including me. Aww.

Also, going to see REGINA SPEKTOR in July at the Sage in Gateshead! So excited, I love her so much.

Last night we decided to all dress up really smart and give ourselves rah names and sit around drinking. This was my smart:

Shirt, grandma’s, skirt, Harriet’s, tights, AMERICANAPPAREL.

Wow this belt’s getting a lot of action recently.
Other than that, everything here’s new-ish. More classic stripes from Urban Outfitters, but it’s actually that “burnout” effect, which I’m loving atm. And raglan-style babe of course. V. short high-waisted denim hotpants from Topshop. And of course, American Apparel had to have a look in. Hoodie was the product of my visit to the new store in Leeds.

So at a loss, I’ve finished most of my work, it’s unusual not to be stressing about it. Instead I am stressing about stupid things, like getting into this Urban Outfitters 20%-off-goodie-bag-free-bar-2-year-anniversary party tonight. Jeez.

Off to bind my design journals I think, woo-hoo.

i’m late

Back in Leeds. It’s weird, the nicer weather changes everything in my eyes, so this now feels like some mad holiday camp or something. I came back and my room smelled of this glade smelly thing I have in the bathroom and I don’t really like it anymore, man. Also Robo’s sick patch is still vaguely on the floor, no matter how many attempts I take to try and clean it off. Gah.

Went to the pub last night, it was so packed we had to sit OUTSIDE. Freezing much. Although I was just wearing a t-shirt and a chunky cardigan in terms of layers so in the grand scheme of things it can’t have been THAT cold. Woohoo. As always, by the end of the night someone was trying to master my “accent”, this time Mr. Melnyczuk. Needless to say he failed and sounded scottish. Bahah.

Back to the old grind today, which is why I am up this early. Damn you 9 ‘o’ clock starts. Was really tempted not to go in this morning, but then I remembered I had to hand my garment tech research in. I LOVE handing stuff in, it’s like a checklist lushez.

Sadness though, it’s raining/damp, can’t really tell out of my window. Damn it I want sun this semester. Sunbathing in Hyde Park = ♥.

Found this in iPhoto, forgot I took it, might as well put it in, even though I’ve basically been wearing that for 3 days (yuck) cause of the old move, ahahaha I’m so horrid. Also sorry about how shit I am at like cool, outfitty photography, but I really don’t care enough to learn to do it properly.
